How To Password Protect Files and Folders Using ProtectMe

ProtectMe is a very simple and easy portable application to creates secure password protected containers in form of executable files. This standalone exe container can be executed on any Windows based computer.
Here’s is how you can use ProtectMe to password protect your file:
- Run “Protect Me! 2010.exe” to launch “Protect Me !”.
- Drag and Drop files into the container.
- Next enter the password to protect the file
- Click “Create Container” to save the password file as .exe

How to view the contents of the password protect file
- Double Click the saved “.exe” file ex. images.exe
- Enter the password for validation
- Which shows the list of file and folder inside
Individual files or all the files can be extracted by selecting the file and clicking “Save As” or to extract all the files click “Extract Everything”.

File can also be previewed, by selecting the file and clicking “Run”.
ProtectMe supports Windows 7, Vista and XP and required .NET Framework 3.5 to install.
